Croad Langshan
Langshan are an elegant dual purpose fowl that originated in China. Black Langshan became a standard variety in 1883 while the white Langshan were admitted into Standard in 1893. Our eldest daughter started showing Langshan in 2017 and continues today. The standard weight for a cock is 9.5 pounds and the standard weight for a hen is 7.5 pounds. Males like to strut around and show off their magnificent tails, never offering to be mean or aggressive. Hens are inquisitive, docile and sweet. We have added blue to our breeding pens this year so watch for those.
